Today, I went to two gyms to compare them and purchase a membership.
Both gyms had all the equipment I needed.
Both were a short distance from home.
I felt certain that both gyms would be a solid choice and a good investment.
The first gym I went to, they gave me a grand tour and pricing information and sent me on my way.
The second gym I went to, the woman asked me if I’d be ready to start today. I was hesitant. She showed me around a little more and asked again. I said “yes”.
The gym that asked for the sale, and persisted past the first objection, got the sale.
